Specialist behaviour consultation that works alongside your practice

Close-up of intertwined tree roots — representing the collaborative relationship between Behaviour for Learning and referring professionals

What this service offers

Many children receive strong professional support — assessment, diagnosis, school-based strategies, therapeutic input. What's harder to provide from any single professional setting is sustained, home-based work that helps parents understand what's driving behaviour and put that understanding into consistent daily practice.

That's the gap Behaviour for Learning fills.

Working with parents to:

  • Identify what is actually driving the behaviour — the patterns, pressure points and hidden drivers

  • Build a personalised curriculum specific to that child and family

  • Teach parents exactly how to implement it — through modelling, guided practice and hands-on support

  • Create consistency at home that travels into school and every other setting

When to consider a referral

This service tends to be the right fit when families:

  • Ask "what are we actually missing?"

  • Have tried multiple approaches without lasting change

  • Have an inconsistent home environment, but the child is well supported professionally

  • Need personalised, expert guidance built around their specific child and circumstances

  • Are ready to engage with a structured process and able to invest privately

Simple to refer — no extra work for you

How referrals work

Simply direct the family to behaviourforlearning.com.au and encourage them to apply.

There's no referral form to complete and no follow-up required from you.

Families contact Roisin directly and independently — your involvement ends with the recommendation.

Every application is reviewed personally by Roisin. Suitable families are invited to a 15-minute Clarity Call to confirm fit and discuss next steps.

If a parent raises concerns about their child's behaviour at home, you might say:

'There's a specialist who works specifically with parents to understand what's driving behaviour — she identifies the missing piece and builds a personalised plan around it. It might be worth looking into. Her website is behaviourforlearning.com.au.'

This is a private-paying service. Investment starts from $5,000 — families should be aware of this before applying.

Let's work together
